With the extension of its European logistics commissioning centre and the construction of a new fully automated high-bay warehouse, sink and mixer tap specialist Blanco has now created the perfect conditions for its continued growth and future-orientated global distribution. The building was ceremonially handed over today, exactly one year after the symbolic groundbreaking ceremony. The project, which cost in the region of €20 million, will more than double the company's warehouse capacity.

Seven years after the construction of Blanco's new logistics centre, it's time for the next big step: Germany's biggest sink manufacturer and the world's leading provider of sinks and mixer taps is investing 20 million euros in the extension of its Bruchsal site. Today's symbolic ground-breaking ceremony takes the company on to the realisation stage.

The Blanco Kitchen Technology Group, Germany’s biggest manufacturer of kitchen sinks and one of the world’s leading suppliers, enjoyed significant growth in the 2010 fiscal year, as the company reported at its annual press conference. Blanco achieved consolidated net sales of € 242 million euros, which represents a more than 9-percent increase in revenue on the previous year (€ 222 million).
