For quite some time now, the multifaceted “Corporate Social Responsibility” – or “Sustainability” – has been an integral constituent of the BLANCO company policy. At BLANCO, this extends to responsibility for our employees, customers, partners, our environment, and society and affects how we think and act day after day.
One essential attribute at BLANCO is the generous freedom – and hence trust in advance – that our employees enjoy for their responsibilities to their commitments. This freedom, though, comes with an obligation: every employee accepts this own responsibility to utilise this freedom for the benefit of the company. The greater part of employee satisfaction and the appeal of BLANCO as an employer is based on how these paired values of trust and responsibility are perceived.
Companies bear a social responsibility of particular impact. BLANCO is proud to accept this responsibility and fulfils this in a great many ways. Particularly as a family run enterprise rooted in its homeland, BLANCO has promoted since the very outset a philosophy and actions aligned to sustainability and the appreciation of values. For instance, BLANCO has been publishing a twice yearly sustainability report since 2008 and has committed itself to upholding ethical business principles.
Since 2008 the company has issued a sustainability report every second year.
