Aesthetically appealing solutions that are well-planned down to the last detail – another Blanco quality. The latest coup from the sink specialists concerns water drainage and its control, the essential feature at the heart of every bowl. The innovative drain system celebrating its première at Gut Böckel is called Blanco InFino, and can be used for all the manufacturer’s sink materials. Operation is intuitive and the technology is fascinating: a simple turning movement to left or right will open and close it. The height of the strainer basket does not vary, but instead – thanks to the new operating principle – it always remains precisely centred and flush to the base of the bowl. The modern, flat design of InFino helps to give the entire sink a balanced look. The smart operation and control concept is delightful in every respect – because InFino is extremely easy care and easy to install.
“Ease of use was extremely important to us, and we also took for granted the need for it to be ergonomic for users of every age group”, explains Dr Olaf Scheffler, Director Product Development at Blanco. “With InFino, we are also controlling the pop-up fitting in a totally new way, using an anatomically contoured rotating knob.” The stainless steel basket is made with great precision from a single piece and has no joints. The elegant design of InFino is extremely easy care: to clean the basket, simply lift it – this also gives easy access to the closure, which is independent of the basket. Clever by design: the pop-up fitting beneath is ultra-compact, to create more space in the base cabinet.
The new drain system will initially be introduced in most innovations and programme highlights and should in future become established throughout the premium and high-end segments. “With InFino, our customers already have a universal drain system available. Thanks to its clever and precise design, it fits equally harmoniously into stainless steel, Silgranit and ceramic sinks”, summarises Olaf Scheffler.
