Tartufo and Basalt complete the BLANCO colour range

The latest sink colours for new home living trends

17.01.2011|

The trend towards flowing transitions between the kitchen and the living area continues unabated, and so it is even more important that the kitchen design should blend harmoniously with the living environment. This applies in particular to the sink, where the majority of all kitchen activities are carried out. BLANCO, the German kitchen technology specialist, has for years been offering irresistible solutions to this requirement with its coloured programme of sinks in high quality Silgranit PuraDur II and ceramic. The company is adding two new colours, Tartufo (for Silgranit sinks) and Basalt (for ceramic sinks), to its CombiColours range that facilitate a balanced combination for practically any current and long-term furniture and furnishing trends.

Thus Tartufo, which shimmers from grey to brown, goes particularly well with a modern, natural lifestyle with light woods such as limed oak. It is luxurious and elegant in combination with dark woods, for instance American walnut. The same applies for Basalt, the dark and stylish shade of grey that creates associations with the natural stone of the same name, and with slate. This gives it its unique elegance and urban character. Basalt is particularly delightful in combination with fine-grained or natural, lively woods.

The new colours are extremely elegant in the Blancozenar sink series. In addition to various designs in Silgranit, a ceramic model will also be available from May 2011.

The special care taken in the development of a new colour is also evident in the company’s mixer taps. Single-coloured, in chrome and Silgranit, or chrome and ceramic, the mixer tap is the perfect finishing touch to the sink centre. And the proven Blanco quality means that customers can be doubly sure of having years of pleasure in a perfect, individual kitchen design.
