In mid-January Cologne will again become the Mecca for furniture experts and cast a spell over more than 150,000 visitors. “LivingKitchen” too has established itself in this environment as the leading international trade fair for the kitchen industry. In an atmospherically welcoming setting, BLANCO, the globally successful German sink and mixer tap specialist, will present attractive innovations and developments from all product areas.
"LivingKitchen" is an excellent platform for us to present the premium BLANCO brand. This year too, we again want to make an impression with trailblazing innovations and outstanding design,” emphasised Achim Schreiber CEO. He said that the international industry event showing the kitchen as living space in its entirety and uniting the significant suppliers in one central location made the trade fair in Cologne particularly attractive both for trade partners, planners and architects in Germany and abroad and for private individuals about to buy a new kitchen.
The current product range is characterised by excellent design, precisely thought-out details, practical accessories and a market-specific variety of models in each segment. This is exactly what, for example, a new sink of Silgranit PuraDur, celebrating its world premiere in Cologne, represents. Also, with new products that a short while ago enthused the industry specialists at the order fairs, BLANCO demonstrates innovative power, market insight and an excellent flair for long-term trends. A prime example is the Etagon bowl design concept that has just been awarded the Best of Best at the “Iconic Awards 2017: Interior Innovation” and brings more flexibility into the kitchen. The material innovation Durinox in the BLANCO SteelArt exclusive segment will be another highlight – it is not only a synonym for decades of expertise in the processing of stainless steel but also an impressive demonstration of the design power of the manufacturer.
In the stand design BLANCO uses the most up-to-date digital visualisation and enables visitors to immerse themselves into virtual dimensions for the first time. On a specially equipped presentation island they will be offered the exciting opportunity to view current sinks and taps in contemporary interiors with the aid of virtual reality glasses. The digital simulation gives a fascinating authentic room experience. At the same time the tactile experience of materials, colours and shapes still represents an essential part of the product showcasing at the fair stand. The service and demo stations of the Technical Customer Services on current topics on all aspects of sinks, taps and waste systems are further welcoming hotspots. “Above all we look forward to meeting and having productive talks with our trade partners and also other potential customers,” emphasised Lars Kreutz, Sales Director, Germany and Uwe Johannböcke, International Sales Director.
The LivingKitchen trade fair will take place together with imm cologne (16 to 22 January 2017) and will be open from 9 am to 6 pm, and until 5 pm on Sunday. The BLANCO exhibition stand will be located in Hall 4.2 (C 020/029). The event will be open to the public from 20 to 22 January, giving consumers the opportunity to discover the most recent trends and solutions relating to all aspects of sinks, taps and waste systems.
