“Yes” chef, Tess Ward, tessward.com , made the most of the new range of hobs by BLANCO when she spent the day at BLANCO’s showroom in Hertfordshire. She produced various delicious dishes, each one illustrating the flexibility and ingenuity of the new nine-hob line up.
Videos were recorded and the sales team briefed – and fed!
The new hob collection includes the very latest technology for high-speed, energyefficient cooking. Highlights include a flex induction zone that accommodates multiple pans of varying sizes, auto power/stop for effortless control, and a boost option which brings food to boiling point in seconds. Leading the nine-hob line up is the high-end BH467831 induction hob, a 78cm-wide ceramic induction hob with a whole host of functions including six-zone surface cooking, sleek slider controls and automatic pan recognition. RRP is £1448.
“Having learnt to cook on an induction hob at Le Cordon Bleu, I initially struggled with temperature control knobs that were easily knocked,” Tess recalls.
“BLANCO have solved that problem by offering a new, sophisticated control system that prevents any accidental temperature change and has converted me back to the safe, effective delight of induction.
“It’s a dream for quick and easy cooking. Perfect for crispy fish or delicious seared steak!” suggests Tess.
As with all BLANCO products, each piece is rigorously factory-tested to withstand many years of use, even in the busiest kitchens and, as typical BLANCO ‘added value’, each BLANCO induction hob comes with a complimentary BLANCO-branded oven glove and apron. Further sales offers will be announced.
The new branding mantra for BLANCO in 2016, to reflect the company’s prowess in above-the-worktop perfection, is: COOK IT – hobs; EXTRACT IT – cooker hoods; LIGHT IT – lighting; and PREP’ IT - sinks and taps.
